For example, the category ' B' classified as passenger cars with a permissible maximum mass not exceeding 3.5 tonnes and the total number of passenger seats no more than 8. This section also featured vehicles with a trailer with a permissible mass of not more than 750 pounds, cars with a trailer over 750 kilograms but not exceeding the weight of the vehicle without a load, and the total maximum authorized mass of the vehicles does not exceed 3.5 tons. The subcategory ' B1 ' - it's tricycles and quadricycles allowed to manage the age of 18.
Holders of rights category ' A', as now, be able to drive motorcycles. This creates a subcategory of ' A1 ' / light motorcycles / with an engine capacity not exceeding 125 cubic centimeters and a maximum power of 11 kW / 15 hp /. ' Iron horses ' category ' A' will be able to control the citizens over 18 years, and the subcategory ' A1 ' - 16 years.
Among other things, introduce new categories of 'Tm' / trams / and 'Tb' / trolley /.
Project developers say that innovation will differentiate the conditions for obtaining the rights depending on the potential hazards of specific types of cars and motorcycles due to their technical and operational characteristics.
For each of the categories will be developed by individual training programs. As a result of wishing to obtain the right to drive small trucks and vans do not have to absorb the full training courses for heavy-duty trucks and urban buses. Another important innovation - the prohibition to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to employ drivers who do not have Russian driver's license or temporary permit for driving the respective categories and subcategories.
